The AC/GC Chargers softball team is hosting an all too familiar team.

For the first round of Class 2A Region 3 action, the Chargers face off against the West Central Valley Wildcats for the fourth time this season. AC/GC has won all three prior games this season, with the most recent being last Wednesday.

Emerson Van Meter leads the Chargers from the mound, having pitched in all their wins for 117 1/3 innings pitched, a 2.80 ERA, and 100 strikeouts on the season. Grace Bleckwhel it’s the Wildcats leading pitcher, with 117 2/3 innings pitched, a 4.58 ERA and 66 strikeouts.

The winner of tonight’s game will play against Van Meter. First pitch tonight is set for 7pm, with pregame coverage to begin at 6:30pm. The Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network will broadcast the game live on the KKRF2 online live stream.
