The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball team is winding down the season with two more games this week prior to postseason.
The Tigers have done a lot of growth throughout the year as they began with some tough Class 4A schools, but Head Coach Jason Book believed that it would prepare ADM for the later stretch in the season. The time is here as the Tigers have their final two games back to back, beginning tonight.
ADM will travel to Creston seeking a win in a non-conference game. The game will be the 14th in the series as the Tigers lead 7-6 over the Panthers, and taking the last two. This season, ADM scores a little over four runs a game, while Creston is at six. On the mound, the Tigers have produced more strikeouts with 175 to the Panther’s 169.
ADM is 14-13 overall and represent the Raccoon River Conference, while Creston is 22-10 overall, representing the Hawkeye 10. Following tonight, the Tigers will closeout the regular season at Norwalk tomorrow (broadcast on K107.9 KKRF), then start the Substate 2 First Round game against Ballard on the road Friday night at 7pm.
