The Adel City Council will meet in regular session tomorrow.

The council will be looking to approve a resolution of an agreement for animal shelter services between the City of Adel and AHeinz57 Pet Rescue and Transport Incorporated. 

Other items on the agenda seeking approval during tomorrow’s meeting include a revised live trap policy, a first reading of an ordinance for animal protection and control for the purpose of removing reference to animal licenses and to increase the administrative impound fee, setting the fiscal year fees for services for 2024-2025, a City of Adel Employee Handbook, looking to fill a vacancy for a historic preservation commission, and set a public hearing date for the proposed vacations of right-of-ways along Bradfield Street within Southbridge Plat 7.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held tomorrow at Adel City Hall, 301 S. 10th Street, in Adel at 6pm.
