The Jefferson Matters Economic Vitality Team has announced the second “After Hours” event that is happening later this month.

Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich says after the first “After Hours” event success from American Athletic, Incorporated and Spaulding, has launched the next exclusive tour will be to different areas of the Greene County Medical Center on July 25th from 5:30-7pm, and is led by the CEO Chad Butterfield.

“So you’re going get to be places you wouldn’t be unless you are A: unconscious as a patient in the surgery room, or (B) a staff person, right? I don’t even know what all they’ve got planned, it’s going to be kind of fun to see. I know Chad Butterfield is very excited to be having it out there. So you know, you’ll be wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for some of this, to get in to some of these places.”

According to the Economic Vitality Team, from 5:30-6:30pm will be the tour of the operating room, radiology, nutritional services, as well as an up close look at specialized equipment. Then, from 6:30-7pm are refreshments in the atrium lobby area, where attendees can ask additional questions and get to know other staff members,

Limited spots are available and the registration deadline is July 18th with a $10 fee. People can sign up by clicking here or by contacting the Welcome Center at 515-386-2155.
