Jefferson Parks and Recreation is looking for teams for the Adult Co-Ed Softball League.

Assistant Director Nathan Kral says games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm in July and August at the city of Jefferson softball fields on East Lincoln Way. He notes that at least eight people can be on a team and there must be a balance of genders, with the example of seven males and three females can be on a team of ten. He talks about the success that the Adult Co-Ed Softball League has had in the past.

“As long as I have been here, it’s been great. Last year, we had the most amount of teams we’ve had, which was nine. So we actually played three days a week last year with that many teams, we played Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.” 

Kral adds that registration fee is $200 per team and the deadline is Friday to sign up a team. He says the league will start on July 16th. Click here or contact the Greene County Community Center at 515-386-3412 to register.
