A special feature will be highlighted at tomorrow’s Greene County Farmers Market in Jefferson.

Thomas Jefferson Gardens Board President Danielle Ross tells Raccoon Valley Radio the Iowa State University Learning Farms and Water Rocks Conservation trailer will be at the farmers market tomorrow from 4-6:30pm. She says the trailer is an interactive educational entertainment for everyone with a rain simulator and a marsh exhibit. This trailer is free and open to the public.

Ross reminds the public to also check out the vendors as more produce, baked goods and other items are added constantly. The 50107 Summerfest Committee will be serving a fundraising meal tomorrow of pulled pork sandwiches, chips, baked beans, a cookie and water for $10. The proceeds will go to the annual event in Grand Junction.

The Greene County Farmers Market is every Tuesday from 4-6:30pm through September 10th on the corner of East Lincoln Way and South Chestnut Street.
