The West Central Valley Wildcat softball team hosted the Earlham Cardinals on Thursday for double header action and unfortunately fell in both contests, 14-11 and 13-6.

In game one, the Cardinals would get a quick two run lead in the top of the first, but West Central Valley would hang on, quickly responding with one run of their own in the bottom of the first. This would be the tale of the first game, as the Wildcats would respond after the Cardinals would score, but the damage by the Cardinals would be too much as West Central Valley would fall to Earlham by three runs, 14-11. In game two the Wildcats would rally late in the bottom of the sixth, scoring an impressive five runs, but the Cardinals would find the answer to the Wildcats and hold them to only one more run in the seventh to secure a 13-6 victory.

Now at 13-15 the Wildcat softball team prepares to host the Orient-Macksburg Bulldogs on Monday with the action beginning at 7PM.
