The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday night.
The Council heard an update on the farmers market from Kelly Ellis, in addition to a request from her for help with a facility to use when there is bad weather. They also approved the first reading of an ordinance amending the City Code to allow the operation of all terrain vehicles and utility task vehicles on city streets, and the second reading was suspending, formally adopting the ordinance to the City Code.
City Administrator Lisa Grossman let the Council know that the City Engineer asked them not to approve the seventh change order for the Jackson Street project, as an updated change order would be presented at the next meeting due to changes in the asphalt contract, and the item was tabled.
