The Bluejays defeated Greene County last night, 1-0.  The two game series against these Heart of Iowa foes was a close one.  Perry won both contests by one run.  The Bluejays broke the scoreless tie by scoring one in the fifth.  Owen Myers picked up the victory for Perry as he struck out nine in the complete game shutout.  This is the second time he’s won against the Rams.  The Perry offense combined for 6 hits, but it was an error that led to the lone run.

Perry improves to 9-14 and 6-8 in the HOIC.  They will close out the week on Friday with a home game against Winterset.  The game will air on KDLS at 7:30P.
