There is still time for those looking to show dogs or horses to get some practice in before the Adair County Fair.

Summer Intern Mikaela Downing says that they are still having practice classes for both dogs and horses weekly, with dog classes on Mondays and horse classes on Wednesdays. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio why those participating should look to attend.

“Anybody that’s got dogs or horses they want to bring to the fair and need some more practice with them, those are great workshops that you can come to weekly.”

Downing shares that these classes will continue up to the fair, meaning there should be two more classes for each. Horse classes take place at the horse arena at the Adair County Fairgrounds, along with the dog classes that are also held at the fairgrounds.
