The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball team is looking to rebound from Monday’s loss to Bondurant-Farrar as they head home tonight for a conference game against Winterset.

During the first matchup, the Tigers used a tremendous third inning to score 18 runs, defeating the Huskies 18-1. Every player for ADM scored in the game as Ben Plaisance led with three runs scored. ADM Head Coach Jason Book calls the first game an outlier and is anticipating a different mindset from the Huskies tonight.

“We fully expect them to come back at us guns blazing and try and get a little bit of redemption on getting beat like that.”

The Tigers have developed a rhythm in the last nine games, as they’ve won seven of them. ADM is 12-11 overall (7-5 inside the Raccoon River Conference) which is fourth, while Winterset is 8-12 overall (5-6 RRC). First pitch will be at 7pm in Adel.
