Funeral service for Dawna Sue Helms, age 68, of Jefferson, will be held at 11:00am Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson.  The family will be present at the funeral home to visit with friends starting at 10:00am Thursday.  Interment will be in the Jefferson Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested  Jefferson P.A.W.S.

 Survived by sister, Kate (Steve) Cuddy of Jefferson, IA; sister-in-law, Glenda Helms of Texas; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
