The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball team couldn’t complete the season sweep against Bondurant-Farrar Monday night, losing 7-2.

The Tigers narrowly won during the first game in Adel 4-3 on June 3rd, but couldn’t stop the offensive firepower of the Bluejays last night. Bondurant-Farrar scored the first three in the bottom of the first inning, then added another three in the fourth and one in the fifth. ADM responded with two runs in the top of the second, after trailing 3-0.

The Bluejays were led by Jacob Roberts, who finished 2-2 with two singles and scored twice. Dawson Ehlers went 3-4 and also scored twice, with Cole Miller, Parker Ernst, and Mason Frost all captured one run for Bondurant-Farrar. The Tigers were led by Reed Ausdemore going 2-3 with two doubles as Ethan Uglum and Alex Jensen scored the two for ADM.

The Tigers fall to 12-11 overall (7-5 inside the Raccoon River Conference) and will have today off before a home game versus Winterset on Wednesday.
