The Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach has extended one of the deadlines that had been set for this past Monday.

Summer Intern Mikaela Downing says that the beef workshop will be Saturday from 8:30am to noon, and will include lunch. She mentions that parents are also welcome to attend. Those participating will learn or get a refresher on techniques and skills needed to show beef animals at the Adair County Fair. Downing adds that registration is due today, and asks that individuals interested in attending please call the Extension Office at 641-743-8412 so that they have an accurate count for lunch.
