The Panorama Panther softball team travels to Afton today to take on the East Union Eagles. With the statistical advantage on their side, coach Galvan’s Panthers strive for success with senior Lindy Nelson leading the charge behind the dish as the catcher for the Panthers. Nelson has found success this year, with an impressive 21 hits so far this season, 14 runs, 23 RBIs, 2 doubles, 2 stolen bases and a home run with a .375 batting average.
After last nights storm the Panthers hope to create the perfect storm as they prepare for battle in Afton against the East Union Eagles this afternoon. The softball action begins, at 5:30PM.
