The Perry Chamber of Commerce is holding the next Farmer’s Market tomorrow with a theme to recognize law enforcement.
Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti highlights that tomorrow’s Farmer’s Market will honor National Public Safety month. June is the month that recognizes the important work that law enforcement do to protect our communities. Pasutti explains that this will give kids a great opportunity to learn more about the first responders.
“The fire truck and the police vehicles, and if we can get an ambulance down there. So, it’s fun for the kids to get up close and see those big vehicles. Turn on the lights, and hopefully not the sirens.”
Pasutti includes that the Perry Volunteer Fire Department will be doing a grill-out as a fundraiser. The Farmer’s Market is happening throughout the summer every Thursday on Second Street between Willis Avenue and Warford Street from 4-7pm.
