The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball team will have to wait a little longer to battle against conference opponent North Polk.

The Tigers were supposed to host the Comets tonight in Adel, looking to capture a big win inside the Raccoon River Conference. ADM last played at home on Thursday, beating Carroll 6-4, while North Polk defeated Carroll in a high-scoring game on Monday 17-15. The Comets found themselves on the winning end in the first matchup versus the ADM Tigers, with a final score of 6-0. ADM’s Junior Grant Jansen pitched five innings and completed six strikeouts.

North Polk is currently 15-3 overall (10-1 RRC) and ADM is 11-10 overall (6-4 RRC). A tentative date is set for this matchup on July 3rd.
