The Bluejays had one of their longest breaks of the season before last night’s win. Perry hadn’t played since Thursday before making the trip to PCM. That allowed Coach Craig to stack the rotation for this 4 game week including two conference games. The Bluejays won last night, 4-3. The Mustangs would score first with two in the third. Perry would immediately answer with two in the fourth. Both teams would plate one in the fifth, keeping the game tied at 3-3. Perry would scored the game winner in the top of the seventh. Myers struck out 7 in 5 2/3. Levan led the team with two hits.
Perry defeats PCM for the first time since joining the Heart of Iowa Conference and snap a three game losing streak on this season. The Bluejays improve to 7-11. They hit the road tonight to take on Woodward-Granger first pitch set for 5P.
