A group tailored towards younger adults will be returning to Perry this Thursday.

The Perry Chamber is working on bringing back “Young Professionals of Perry” to the community, starting this Thursday. Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti notes that the organization originally met regularly, but was discontinued 10 years ago. She illustrates that the group is meant to connect young adults or those young at heart by networking with each other. 

“We saw it as an opportunity to bring some folks together, if you’re new to town, or from Perry, have gone off to college and are home for the summertime, it’s an opportunity to band together, and enjoy the summer a little bit, maybe do some professional development or do some networking.”

Pasutti confirms that there will be three events throughout the year to be a focal point for gathering, and on Thursday, the group will meet at the Courtyard Cafe from 5-6pm during their live music concert series. She describes that the meeting will allow people to connect with each other as well as hear a short program of what Young Professionals is all about.
