Day 2 of the Kiwanis Tournament treated Perry the same as day 1.  The Jayettes fell in both contests on Saturday.  They lost to Benton 9-1 and Gilbert topped them 9-3.  Perry went 0-4 in the tournament taking on 4 different top 15 teams.

The Jayettes have now lost 5 straight and sit at 5-12.  Tonight they will be in Monroe to take on PCM another top 15 team in the polls.  The Mustangs are the top team in the Heart of Iowa Conference and sit at 13-2 on the year.  Perry lost the first match up 7-0.  First pitch is scheduled for 7P.
