Ogden defeated Greene County in non-conference high school softball in Ogden on Friday night in just 4-1/2 innings via the 10 run rule, 13-3. The Bulldogs are 2-0 vs. the Rams this season and the home team evened its record at 10-10 while the Rams fell to 4-11. Eleven runs in the first inning carried the Bulldogs to the lopsided win.
Greene County had just three hits, all singles, by Payton Kokenge, Sara Morlan, and Violet Reedy Morlan drove in two runs and Kaycee Pittman drove in one. Alaina Heard took the pitching loss, allowing eight earned runs on seven hits, two walks, six batters hit with pitches, and she struck out three batters. Defensively, the Rams struggled with five errors.
