The AC/GC Chargers softball team was to be in action today, as they were supposed to host an in season tournament.

The Chargers would have possibly faced conference and non-conference opponents alike. AC/GC is 7-8 on the season, and after having already played in five games this week, would have participated in three more during the tournament. Head Coach Eric Van Meter was excited the team would have had the opportunity to play some unfamiliar and tough opponents, mentioning that it’s good to compete against teams that aren’t often seen on the Chargers schedule. The tournament has been canceled.
