The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball team compete hard but a late rally from Boone gave them their ninth win of the season.

The Toreadors defeated the Tigers by a final score of 5-1 Wednesday after the bats came alive in the last two innings. ADM scored the initial run of the game when Grant Rychnovsky got on base with a single in the first inning. He was hit in thanks to an RBI Single from Reed Ausdemore. The Tigers led 1-0 all the way until the sixth inning when the Toreadors scored two runs to take the 2-1 lead with Dylan England and Cole Bowers picked up RBIs, scoring both Noah Davies and Landon Grabau.

A three-run homer from England, scoring Davies and Reid Carr extended the Boone lead to 5-1 in the seventh inning, which would be the final score. The winning pitcher was the Toreadors’ Archie Bell who pitched all seven innings, allowed four hits, one run, and struck out four batters. For ADM, Rychnovsky went all seven innings, allowed 11 hits, five runs, and struck out five batters.
