The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Softball team continues to stay hot with a shutout win in Boone on Wednesday.
The Tigers beat the Toreadors Wednesday night in Boone by a final score of 10-0 following a huge fourth inning. ADM led 1-0 at the end of the second but managed to tally seven runs across the plate in the fourth inning, then two more in the fifth to win 10-0 in six innings.
ADM’s Senior Kaylee Smith had two hits, two RBI’s and one run. Senior Cameran Smith had one hit, two RBI’s, one triple, and one run. Lauren Hagedorn pitched five innings and struck out seven batters. The Tigers have now won their last five and improve to 12-6 overall (7-2 inside the Raccoon River Conference) while Boone falls to 9-10 overall (2-6 RRC).
Boone will host Nevada tonight and ADM is home in Adel to take on the Carroll Tigers tonight at 7:15pm with Raccoon Valley Radio carrying the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF beginning at 7pm.
