The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board held their regular meeting Monday, where they made a decision on a real estate transfer.

The board approved a real estate transfer to the City of Minburn after a public hearing, where no comments were made. Other items on the agenda that were approved include a Character Strong curriculum purchase of $21,188.90, district insurances for property, casualty and worker’s compensation insurance policies for the 2024-2025 school year with EMC Insurance, Kinsale Insurance, and Lloyds of London. 

The board also approved a MetroWest buildout invoice of $147,909.36 as presented, the new schematic design for the new high school, band instrument purchases from West Music of $5,742.89 and Rieman Music of $12,130.00, and installing a secure entrance at the middle and high schools.
