The AC/GC Chargers are taking on the Woodward-Granger Hawks today to get their busy week started.

The 6-4 Chargers softball team will be hosting the 2-8 Hawks in Guthrie Center, with Emerson Van Meter to take the mound for AC/GC. This will be the 29th meeting between the two teams, with Woodward-Granger leading the series 19-9 currently. The 0-9 Chargers baseball team will also be hosting, but will be playing against the 3-9 Hawks at Werner Park, home of the Omaha Storm Chasers, with Andrew Mahaffey most likely to start on the mound for AC/GC. The teams have met 31 times, with the Hawks leading the series 25-6. The Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network will follow the baseball team and broadcast the game on KKRF K107.9FM, with first pitch at 2pm, and pregame coverage to begin at 1:30pm.
