The West Central Valley Wildcat baseball and softball teams hosted the Madrid Tigers on Monday to start Wildcat sports action last week resulting in a split decision for the Wildcats. Wildcat softball found success, defeating the Tigers 6-2 but the Wildcat baseball team was shut out by the Tigers, 10-0. The Wildcat baseball team bounced back on Tuesday however as the Wildcat teams traveled to ACGC. The Wildcat baseball team defeated the Chargers 10-5 but the Wildcat softball team fell to the Chargers 1-3. On Wednesday, the odds were in the Wildcats favor as they hosted and swept the Ogden Bulldogs. Wildcat softball defeated the Bulldogs 9-3 while the Wildcat baseball team managed to come out on top 6-5 against the Bulldogs. Thursday would present its own challenges however, as both Wildcat teams were swept by the Van Meter Bulldogs at Van Meter.

The Wildcats prepare to host the Panorama Panthers in baseball and softball action on Monday with the first pitch for both games beginning at 7PM.
