The Bluejays and Jayettes both faced off against the Nevada Cubs on Friday. Softball cruised to a 10-0 win. Baseball split a doubleheader winning 16-1 and falling 9-2.
The Jayettes used to ten run rule to finish the game in 5 innings. Tunink struck out 5 and picked up the complete game win. The offense pounded out 10 hits. Lily Myers led the team with 2 RBI’s. The Jayettes improve to 4-7 and will travel to Roland-Story tomorrow night.
It was a tale of two different games for the Bluejays. The first game Perry struggled falling 9-2. It was a complete turnaround in the night cap as they exploded for 16 runs. Winning 16-1. Kaelan Davis had a homerun and a double to lead the offense in game 2. The Bluejays sit at 6-7 and travel to Roland Story tomorrow.
