The Stuart Fire Department is hosting their annual water fight today.
The department is bringing in a couple of their trucks, and will hang a target on a cable between two posts, then has individuals compete to see who can get the target to the other side. The water fight is open to those who are associated with the fire department, and will be located on South 2nd Street by the basketball court in Lawbaugh Park. The method to move the target is by using fire hoses to shoot water at it, and push it using the water pressure. Registration begins at 11am, with the women’s division to start their fights at noon, and the men’s division to follow. Once the water fights are done, there will be a meal, and trophies will be awarded.
