The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball team won at home versus Bondurant-Farrar Monday after a tight battle went into extra innings.
The Tigers won their seventh game of the season Monday evening after beating the Bluejays 4-3 with a walkoff in the eighth inning. Bondurant-Farrar scored the first run to lead 1-0 at the end of the fourth inning. ADM responded by scoring three in the first to take a 3-1 advantage. The Bluejays scored two more in the top of the sixth to notch the game at 3-3. Then the game went into extra innings as the Tigers managed to put a couple of runners on base when Junior Grant Jansen hit a walkoff on the way for ADM to win 4-3.
The Tigers are now 7-9 on the season (2-3 inside the Raccoon River Conference) and the Bluejays fall to 9-6 overall (3-3 RRC). ADM will be back on the road tomorrow for a conference game against Winterset scheduled for a 7pm start. Tomorrow’s game will be broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, with pregame at 6:45pm.
