An Adel woman was taken into custody Monday on a warrant for drug paraphernalia. 

According to court documents, 31-year-old Tracci Llamas was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear, from the original charge of possession of contraband in a correctional institution and possession of controlled substance violation. Court documents show that during the booking process at the Dallas County Jail, a staff member found an alleged pill container with prescription drugs that Llamas didn’t have a prescription for, and it was discovered after Llamas had been given the disclaimer about bringing contraband into the jail facility. 

Llamas was additionally charged with a Class D Felony for possession of contraband in a correctional institution and a serious misdemeanor for unlawful possession of prescription drugs. Llamas is being held in the jail on a $5,000 cash or surety bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
