The June Primary Election will be held on Tuesday and the Dallas County Auditor’s Office will be open tomorrow for early voting.

According to Kim Owen, Elections Administrator for Dallas County, the auditor’s office in Adel will be open tomorrow from 8am-4:30pm. Owen explains that 433 ballots have been submitted through both the mail and in person. 

Dallas County has two contested races with Republican Chad Brewbaker running against current Iowa Representative in House District 28 David Young, as well as the County Attorney position is to fill a vacancy and two Republicans are vying for the candidacy with Ronald Carl Forsell and Matt Schultz. 

Owen emphasizes that the auditor’s office will be open the remainder of today until 4:30pm, then tomorrow and Monday from 8am-4:30pm.
