The West Central Valley Wildcat baseball team traveled to Southwest Valley to take on the Southwest Valley Timberwolves. The Wildcats started off a little slow, not scoring until the top of the fourth inning, but once they scored, they were firing on all cylinders. The Timberwolves would take the lead early however, scoring 1 run in the bottom of the second. With the score at 1-0 in going into the fourth, the Wildcats notched in 3 runs in the fourth and 2 runs in the fifth, quickly turning the tables in favor of the Wildcats. With the score at 5-1, the Timberwolves would score their final run in the bottom of the fifth, as the Wildcats would finish the game in an electrifying fashion scoring 3 runs in the sixth and 7 runs to close out the contest in the seventh.
The Wildcats defeated the Timberwolves 15-2 and advance to 4-4 in the season. The Wildcats will take on the Pleasantville Trojans today at home beginning at 5PM.
