The Guthrie County Hospital (GCH) and GCH Foundation will be fundraising this weekend.

GCH Foundation Director Dennis Flanery, on Saturday they will host a 5K Color Fun Run and Walk. Registration for the event will be from 9:30-10:30am at the GCH Fitness Center, with fees due as well. For those 19 and older to participate in the 5K run/walk registration is $35, and for a three person relay team it is $90. For those wanting to participate in the 5K that are 18 or younger, and for those wanting to participate in the 1K run/walk for those 12 and under, the fee is $20.

The races will begin at 10:30am from the GCH Fitness Center. From 11am to 1pm, there will be a free lunch provided, and bingo to be played, which will cost $1 per card. Proceeds from the event will be sent to the community of Greenfield, to help with disaster relief efforts after the May 21st tornado that cut a destructive swath through the town.
