Juan Mejia Velasquez, Des Moines, was driving on I80 when he lost control of his car.  The car swerved onto the 110 exit ramp and rolled into the ditch.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $20000.  The car was towed from the scene and Mr. Mejia Velasquez was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Ruth Ewing, Patterson, was driving in the 27000 block of El Paso Ave, when she hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $1500.  The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
