Quarterfinals begin today in the Boys Soccer State Tournament.  The 2A field will take the pitch starting at 1P.  The Bluejays will take field at 1:20P as they match up with Decorah at the Cownie Soccer Complex in Des Moines.

Perry makes their second straight appearance in the final 8 after knocking off Humboldt last Wednesday, 4-1.  The Bluejays sit at 11-5 and will take on the 15-3 Vikings.  Decorah is led by senior Jeramiah Rediske, who has scored 26 goals.  The uber talented sophomore, Cerna-Gomez, leads Perry with 26 goals.  The Viking defense is elite as they haven’t allowed a goal in the month of May.  Across the whole season, they’ve only given up 11 in 18 matches.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1:20P and the game will air on KDLS and streaming online at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
