The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball team had an exciting game on Tuesday against Perry, coming away with their fourth win of the season.

The Tigers and Bluejays matched up for the first time in approximately three years as ADM won in walkoff fashion 2-1. Perry scored first in the third inning with Sophomore Wyitt Belgarde after he was hit in from Junior Geren Kenney. ADM responded in the bottom of the third with Rhylan Stine-Smith reaching first on a single, then a single from Senior Grant Rychnovsky sent Stine-Smith in to score the tying run. The score would remain until the bottom of the seventh where Sophomore Leyton Gerleman lead off with a walk. He would eventually reach third base with two outs before Rychnovsky batted him (Gerleman) in for the walkoff win.

The winning pitcher was ADM’s Jack Siefken who pitched two innings, allowed two hits, walked one batter and had three strikeouts. Starting pitcher for the Tigers Reed Ausdemore pitched five innings, allowed two hits, one run, walked one batter and had eight strikeouts. For Perry, Senior Kaelen Davis pitched four innings, allowed six hits, one run, walked two batters, and had three strikeouts. Senior Drake Levan pitched three innings, allowed one hit, one run, walked one batter, and had two strikeouts.

The Bluejays fall to 3-4 overall and ADM improves to 4-6 on the season. Perry will host PCM tonight at 7:30pm with Raccoon Valley Radio carrying the broadcast on KDLS, and ADM will be on the road at North Polk tonight.
