May 24

Shaylee Stockton, age 25, 917 E. Iowa Ave, Indianola, was arrested for Violated Probation Terms.

Benita Obarcanin, age 23, 219 E. Grand Ave, Des Moines, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.  She was also cited for Speeding.

Ellie Wilson, Waukee, was driving in 23000 block of Hwy 44 when she hit a deer.  There were no injuries reported and damage was estimated at $4000.  The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

May 25

Demarco Moore, age 32, 3200 Indianola Ave, Des Moines, was arrested for Possession Of Controlled Substance, No Valid Drivers License, Fail To Display Registration Plate, Driving On Wrong Side Of Two Way Highway and Operating While Under The Influence.

Christopher Meiners, age 31, 33244 K Ave, Adel, was arrested for Eluding and Driving While Barred.  He was also cited for Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked, Fail To Obey Stop Sign, three citations for Fraudulent Use Of Registration, Failure To Provide Proof Of Financial Liability, Windshield and Window Requirements, Failure To Carry Registration Card and Operation Without Registration Card Or Plate.

Marcus Sanders, age 37, 20490 Greenfield Rd, Detroit, MI, was arrested for Contempt – Violation Of No Contact Order.

Heather Beaudet, Bagley, was driving on Hwy 141 at Austin Place, when she hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $3000.  She was able to drive the vehicle from the scene.

Joanna Fullerton, LuVerne, was driving on Hwy 141 by the Dallas County Fairgrounds, when she slowed to make a turn into the Fairgrounds.  Reyna Shirley-Brown, Minburn, was driving behind Ms. Fullerton and did not see her stop.  A collision occurred.  No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at $1500.  Both vehicles were driving from the scene.

May 26

Michael Todd, age 70, 319 Jacob St, Grimes, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was OWI.

Eduardo Torres Aguilar, age 30, 1424-29 E. Virginia Ave, Des Moines, was arrested for Provide False Identification Information.  He was also arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
