A reminder that many organizations will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday in the cities of Perry and Adel.

A press release from the City of Perry states that all city offices and the Perry Water Works Office will be closed on Monday. They announce that the McCreary Community Building as well as the Perry Public Library will be closed both tomorrow and Monday in relation to Perry High School’s graduation and the holiday. Garbage routes scheduled for Monday will be picked up on Tuesday, with Tuesday’s routes to be handled on Wednesday. With that, the city reminds residents that there will not be any yard waste pickup on Wednesday.

Other offices that will be closed on Monday for Memorial Day include Perry and Adel City Hall, the Post Offices in Perry and Adel, the Adel Public Library, Adel Parks and Recreation, the Dallas County Extension Office, and the Dallas County Courthouse.
