A federal entity is helping community members in Greenfield that were impacted from the tornado earlier this month.
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Survivor Assistance (DSA) teams are working with state and county efforts to help people recover. FEMA provides funding for any eligible applicants with assistance with serious needs, displacement and temporary housing, home repairs or replacements, rental assistance, personal property with items that were damaged or destroyed inside a dwelling, along with child care, transportation, and moving or storage expenses.
DSA staff can help survivors apply for FEMA funding and address immediate and emerging needs. They can also check on status updates of FEMA applications. See the steps below to apply for FEMA assistance.
