Summer sports have begun for the AC/GC Chargers.

With baseball having played two games already, and softball to have their first next week, the teams are ready for action. Both teams have a strong cast of upperclassmen helping to lead them. For the baseball team, there are three seniors and four juniors. The seniors include short stop Tegan Slaybaugh, pitcher and outfielder Andrew Mahaffey, and center fielder Lance Bunde. The juniors include second baseman Noah Kading, outfielder Jackson Pfrang, catcher Taytum Bates and first baseman Ben Franzeen.

The softball team has five seniors and three juniors helping to lead them this season. The seniors include infielder Emerson Van Meter, outfielder Jenna Rowley, catcher Reagan Carney, infielder Mersadez Richter and infielder Carley Fagan. The juniors for the Chargers include outfielder Paige Van Meter, infielder Jayla Hoover and outfielder Belle Fagan.
