A number of Greene County High School golfers earned letters from the recently completed seasons. Heath Telleen is the girls’ coach and Kyle Kinne coaches the boys.

Girls lettering were senior Hallie Monthei, junior Maggie Mikkelsen, and sophomores Alivia Cornell, Taylor Johnston, and Maya Telleen. Monthei and Mikkelsen also earned Heart of Iowa Activities Conference All-Academic honors.

Seniors lettering in boys’ golf were Nathan Behne, Jack Hansen, and Gavin Trecker. Junior Noah Hinote lettered, as did sophomores Carter Hinote, Broc Stream, Nathan Towers, and Drew Wolterman. Landon Vote lettered as a freshman.

Both Greene County varsity squads showed improvement from last season.
