The Panorama Panther girls soccer season comes to a close at the Class 1A Region 5 Championship. The Panthers traveled to Nevada to take on the Nevada Cubs, and unfortunately the odds were not in their favor as the Panthers came short to the Cubs. Both defenses were working overtime in the first half, as neither team was able to notch in a goal before half time. The Panthers would score in the second half, but unfortunately the Cubs would score twice, sealing the coffin on the Panther dreams of playing in the state tournament.
The Panthers had an incredible season, winning 12 games straight before losing to Van Meter, and can proudly end their season at 14-3.
