As the city of Greenfield continues to rebuild and recover from Tuesday’s devastating tornado, new information has been released about getting power back up to the impacted area.

Adair and Guthrie County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeremy Cooper says MidAmerican Energy is going to be restoring gas lines north of Jackson Street. Crews will be going door to door in that area of town to relight those lines. MidAmerican asks for customers who are 18 and older to be home when this service is done. Crews will make three attempts to enter and if no one is home, a door hanger will be left to schedule an appointment.
