Those individuals who signed up to compete in the horse arena at the Adair County Fair are able to get some practice in leading up to the fair.

Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Youth Coordinator Caroline Savage says that earlier this month they started practices for the horse show. These practices are held at the horse arena at the Adair County Fair Grounds from 6:30-7:30pm, and will continue to be held on Wednesdays until the fair, unless circumstances call for the time to be moved or postponed. Savage mentions that these practices are a great way for contestants to run the drills and get some hands-on experience before they compete during the fair.
