The City of Bayard has lifted their boil order.

Ryan Billheimer says that crews were trying to replace a leaking valve on the water system, but were unable to isolate the area, and had to shut down the water tower to do the work. Once repairs were completed, the system was flushed and cleaned. Now that two consecutive sets of bacterial samples have been tested and come back negative, it is once again safe to consume city water without boiling it first.
