The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.
The Board approved a payroll change notice for Cindi Fox as a dispatcher for a six month increase, a liquor license renewal for The Port, then heard from State Street Insurance Owner Becky Benton on worker’s compensation renewal. Benton told the Board that in the next year, they would be eligible for a longevity discount, and that across the state, worker’s compensation rates have been dropping.
The Board then entered a public hearing to discuss the 2023-24 budget amendment, and after discussion approved the amendment. They also approved resolutions adopting amendments to the fiscal year 2024 County and Department of Transportation budget and the amendment to the fiscal year 2024 County Five Year Program.
