The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Golf team capped off an amazing season with a championship.

The Tigers competed in the Class 3A State Golf meet on Monday where they shot 304 strokes beating runner up Waverly-Shell Rock (307). Senior Easton Korell was the 3A individual winner after 6-under-par round of 66. Junior Carter Madison tied for 13th with a 6-over score of 78 and Junior Grant Jansen and Senior Finn Garton ended up in a three-way tie for 20th with North Polk’s Jacob Eagan shooting a 80. Senior Grant Hickey tallied a 81 and Senior Lincoln Banwart shot an 84. The Tigers finish the 2024 season 39-3 overall.

The Championship is the second in ADM’s history as the Girls Track & Field team earned the first over the weekend at the state track meet in Des Moines.
