The AC/GC Chargers get started with some summer sports this week.

The baseball team was supposed to start things off with a varsity/JV doubleheader tonight in Exira against the Exira-EHK Spartans, but will only be having the varsity game, with first pitch at 6pm. Both the baseball and softball teams will be on the road tomorrow, with games to be played in Madrid against the Tigers. Both games will have the first pitch at 7pm, with the Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network beginning pregame coverage of the softball game at 6:30pm.

The baseball team continues action on Wednesday night, with their first home game of the season against the Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders. First pitch is at 7:30pm, with coverage of the game on the Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network to begin at 6:30pm. The softball team returns to action Thursday night, as they head to Glidden for a varsity/JV doubleheader against the Glidden-Ralston Wildcats, with first pitch at 5pm for the varsity game.

The week ends with the preseason triangular that the softball team hosts, with the Chargers taking on the Red Oak Tigers at 9am, then the Riverside Bulldogs at 1pm.
