The West Central Valley Wildcats traveled to St. Marys to take on the Martensdale-St. Marys Blue Devils in varsity baseball action on Thursday. Unfortunately for the Wildcats, the Blue Devils were able to secure a 3-2 victory in nail bitter action for the Wildcats. However, junior Zach Teague had a great outing for the Wildcats, notching in 2 hits, batting .500 while notching in 1 run with 1 RBI and 1 stolen base. Teague and the Wildcats fought valiantly and although they scored in the last inning of the game, the Wildcats were held to only 1 run in the 7th, resulting in a 3-2 score in favor of the Blue Devils.

The Wildcats hosted Colfax-Mingo last night and we will have stats for that game once it is posted.
